Nice Hotel, with a Spa.

A little disappointed...we expected an 'upscale' hotel as described, but the room was rather basic. 2 out of 3 saunas were closed due to corona, as was the steam room. If we had known beforehand we wouldn't have made the 4 hr drive there, as there are much nicer spas closer to home. The swimming pool was alright, nothing special. One of the warm water pools has some white stuff floating around in it which was rather disgusting...we got out of it and looked for a member of staff to complain to but there was no one there. The one sauna that was open only allowed 4 people at a time inside due to corona, so the waiting times were quite long sometimes. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which was shocking. Also no complimentary bottle of water, which being a spa hotel I think is poor. I also expected there to be some body lotion in the room given that it is a spa hotel, and also considering the price that we paid for our stay, but again a disappointment. Breakfast was average, no pastries in the morning. Dinner was also very average, not the exciting 'live cooking show' they make it out to be. All in all for the price and the time it took us to get there I would not recommend. There are nicer spas in Germany (at a fraction of that price).

I enjoyed every minute of staying at the Land Gut Höhne. If I was in somewhere Europe , I definitely made my wedding there :)

I was looking for a wellness hotel for a relaxing weekend and boy, did I find it! If you're looking for something special, I would spring for one of the suites. We went for the Pool Wellness Suite; it had a sauna and hot tub in the room. The hotel also has a wellness area with a pool, steam, sauna, fitness area and offer massages. A restaurant and bar on site, plus a nice sitting area in the reception with a fireplace. You couldn't leave without feeling extremely rejuvenated. The reception staff were a little stand off-ish and could be perceived as slightly rude. Our room key wasn't working and the receptionist made it seem like it was our fault, explaining to us how keys work for 5 mins. The massages were also quite disappointing. Hardly enough pressure, it was like we paid to be lathered in way too much oil. Despite all that, it is still one of a kind hotel. 10/10 would recommend.

We had an amazing evening here celebrating our anniversary. The atmosphere was just right and the food was excellent.

Amazing place. Comfortable room. Kora od bars tastfull good at restaurant. Very cozy places to eat or just chill. Perfect place to organize either conference ot privat party. Spa with saunas and swimingpool as well as gym. On top BIO foods and perfect tastey homemade salmon every morning.

A little remote to Düsseldorf central but it’s surrounded by greens. Facility is not quite good and the room was small. WiFi is not reachable. So I think it’s good place to stay for vacations not business.

A gorgeous spa. Food delicious, great variety. Also people with nutrition restrictions will find a bite suitable for them. They provide great selection of local vines. Land Gut Höhne offers also Vine and beer from their own production. In the refrigerator in your room you can find bio/organic products as soda, chocolate bars, nuts, etc.. Nice landscape around. Definitely great place to stay!
